To: v i n mil m . i n mil m Cc: From: Sent: Tue 11/16/2010 4:44:17 PM Subject: Dakar Jeffrey, real flight plan: St. Thomas to Dakar Senegal distance 2753nm, today's wind shows +41kts 5+41min flight time. Mach .80 Dakar to St. Thomas with -40kt headwind 6+38mins. In Gulfstream I would return flying long range cruise Mach.78 or less. in Boeing would be Mach .80 (flight time 6+28min) this would be no problem for Boeing to complete this non stop in either direction, I have the Cape Verde Islands as a safety landing spot if needed, plus St. Maarten Island for return. The Gulfsteam should do this non-stop St. Thomas to Dakar, and for return flight Dakar to St. Thomas headwind is no greater than -30kts.. other wise I would stop in Cape Verde island to refuel or St. Maarten.. weather in STT would have to be perfect for non stop flight on return from Dakar to St. Thomas. Gulfstream fuel required: 6.881 gallon for round trip @ $3.92 per gallon = $26,974.00 total fuel cost Boeing fuel cost: 15,004 gallons for round trip @ $3.92 per gallon = $58,816.00 total fuel cost thank you, Larry EFTA_R1_01483000 EFTA02417925
