We have not yet dropped the pool level. First, we need to understand the criteria with the new living room location, and it's relation to the Master Bedroom elevation. Then we can propose some options for dropping the pool level. Attached sketch E4 shows the living room dropped, to allow an accessible or walkable landscape area above, close to the elevation of the existing grass north of the existing living room. (We actually show that area raised I' higher than the existing grass, to improve headroom below.) This would maintain more of the view from the terrace above — we would not have to look directly onto a large roof. This scheme also shows the pool on the same level, and shows guest cottage with east-facing balconies. • Sketch 4A has the floor of the new living room at +45', slightly higher than the Master Bedroom. If the green roof over the living room is at +57, we can get a 9'-10' ceiling in the living room. • Sketch 4B lowers the living room I +42'-6" — the same height as the Master Bedroom. We also discussed slightly raising the level of the green roof, in case we need to raise the level of the living room floor. Please send us your comments. When we understand your preference, we can study options on lowering the pool area slightly.
