Jeffrey,
Robert obviously is capable of building notable, even exquisite
properties,
though he has been very raw in these past two judgments.
I don't know the process by which he got there, but he got there
clearly.
Maybe we have to think about how to modify the communication process..
It would be ashame for this not to happen.
Did Robert know your desires for the shower details, height, placement
of
controls etc.. before sending that drawing?
It's like there
should be a
sequence of drawings for every project.. shower, room
etc.. that go from
general to specific and that gary should view
before you view, as he knows the
practicality of the island and the
real time terrain better than Robert whose
initial drawing is abstract..
Maybe Robert should be further encouraged more to ask questions to
know exactly
what you want. Part of it is that I think he feels very
under pressure to act
quickly to get things done, and it probably
deters him from asking essential
questions relevant to the process of
creation as well as having time to reflect
which is so important. For
ex. he felt he had fifteen minutes to come up with
the pattern and re- pattern for the courtyard, when we all know that isn't
enough.
Just trying to be helpful...
