great news.
thomas pfeiffer could do it.
it is really his field of expertise.
would you like to communicate with him directly?
please email him. he is a great guy.
(perhaps it would be nice to offer him a small stipend for this?)
best wishes
martin

hi Martin,
this is doable for scientists •working• in Iran, Irak, etc. (It would be much more
difficult to get data specifically for Iraq researchers working in the US)
One can easily get publications with Iraq in country/address from Web of Science.
From there, the rest is detail work, like finding unique authors sets etc.
I would say, a week per country for a rough top ten list should more than enough.
Fine tuning by, say, adjusting for subject, and crosschecking with another source
takes a bit more time. I could to this - which countries is Jeffrey interested in?
All the best
Thomas

jeffrey asked me if we could obtain some measure for the citations
of the 10 most cited scientists in countries like iran, iraq, or egypt.
is this doable? could you do this? how much work would that be?
