From: Sent Fri 12/4/2009 7:25:12 PM Subject: Report # 113: Fracture Hallo kiddos! FRACTURE I went to different hospital for 2nd opinion. I have a fracture in the foot. Crutches for another 2 weeks and no gym, high heels or stress on foot for 3 months. The same day, I had my medical for my visa and were x-rayed. Having my foot paparazzied, I was probably x-rayed about 12 times that day! Radiation is coming from me... The medical also included drawing blood so my ann is totally bruised. The doctor told me colleague to apply pressure to my arm where he had drawn blood, so I came out to the waiting area with someone holding my arm and on crutches... APT Found a great, beautiful, and huge studio! The downside is that it's AED 10,000 too expensive and a bit far from campus. However, since it's so darn hard to find a decent studio and that it's not easy apt hunting on crutches, I took it. NATIONAL HOLIDAY UAE turns 38. It is celebrated with honking SUVs driving up and down the Cornichc with the late Sheikh and current Sheikh's faces plastered on the hoods and kids hanging out the car-windows spraying foam at nearby SUVs, and spectacular, over-the-top fireworks at Emirates Palace. IKEA Due to my fracture my colleague pushed me around at IKEA in a wheelchair! The funny thing is that when you're in a wheelchair people think something's wrong with your head! The sales people were only addressing my colleague even though I was the one buying the furniture! My boss helped me move. I didn' t mention to him that my new apt was in a 3-story walk-up... Getting the new apt, being pushed around IKEA in a wheelchair and getting my whitegoods just killed my foot! I'm in pain and my foot is more bruised and swollen now, but what to do...?
