I agree this would be more constructive. That's a good question and I should have asked it first.
TALKING about what works and what doesn't would also be more constructive than sending an
email asking me to leave. What I don't understand about that is how you expect another week
alone to help the situation after seeing the result of long breaks was just the opposite every time in
the past.
I understand you like your free time and so do I but attempting to actually solve things in this
relationship by sending me away for extended periods of time is clearly counter-productive. I
don't know how to have a relationship when I am constantly being told to leave the whole state
for more than just a few days whenever you get the urge. It doesn't work for me. I am still getting
over wasting the past 6 weeks and a month shortly before that. I have only been here 10 days and
you ask me to leave for another week. This is why I suggested to find a separate place. So you
could spend the 'time alone' and I don't have to keep putting my life on hold and sit in nyc with
nothing constructive to do whenever you feel like being alone. The cost is not much higher than
my flying back and forth and it can be short term so I don't understand the hesitation even
considering the future travel reasoning...
That's my suggestion but if you have a different one I'd like to hear it. I am happy to discuss this
evening what you feel I can do better and what worked for you.
