CHIUCHIOLO: No, your Honor. 9 THE COURT: Ms. Days, is there anything that you want 10 to say to me before I sentence you? 11 THE DEFENDANT: Yes, your Honor, I would like to. 12 First, I would like to say thank you for even allowing 13 me to be on video court. I haven't been in your courtroom 14 since 2019, and it's been a long haul, the time that I've spent 15 in federal prison. 16 Your Honor, just would like to focus a couple of 17 things and reiterate in my letter and speak to you because 18 haven't seen you in all this time, in all these years. Doing 19 time in MCC has been very hard for me. It seems like doing 20 time in MCC was three times harder than doing time in MDC's 21 dorm setting. 22 In MCC, we were locked in for anything from minor to 23 major. I was locked up during the Jeffrey Epstein 24 investigation, and I went straight to being locked in a cell, 25 unable to speak to my family or my son.
