The reception after the initial, introductory workshops =as been exceptionally positive. Of particular interest is a program in =ollaboration with City Kids [citykids.org <http://citykids.org/> ], one of NYC's most active inner =ity youth agencies that has a stellar reputation. I am hopeful that =effrey would consider a donation again this year to help underwrite =hat particular project which involves training their staff in multiple =ocations. Last year'= income of $140,000 barely covered our expenses, while this year'= projected expenses have trippled primarily because we have increased =rogramming by a multiple of six. Our target income in 2016 =s $385,000 from all sources; as of today, we are only about 20% to our =oal. We now have submitted eighteen grant requests to various =oundations with a possible total of $160,000 should everyone approve =he full amount of each request.
