It would be great if we could avoid =etting off on an unnecessarily adversarial foot, and I am trying to be =olite while still making our position clear. You cannot, consistent =ith either your own policies or the due process clause, force Professor =rauss to have a meeting that he is not prepared to have. Rather than =rguing about that over email and inevitably escalating this to the =eneral Counsel's office, I think our time would better spent =inding a new date later this month once I've had a chance to =et up to speed.
