He asked if there's any reason the Government wants a status conference this month. I said nothing comes to mind but I'd check with and get back to him with our position. Jason then asked whether the former inmate who died was Epstein's cellmate. I said yes. Jason said he'd like to make another DP pitch in the coming months and I said ok. He suggested a March/April conference and I said I'd get back to him.
