From: To: Cc: Subject: RE: Interlochen Date: Sun, 08 Mar 2020 18:59:44 +0000 I'll send an email cc'ing both of you asking. From: Sent: Saturday, March 7, 2020 5:30 PM To: Cc: Subject: RE: Interlochen would it be possible to confirm with your Interlochen contact that they gave us records of any tuition payment Epstein (or his entities) made for students? From some of the records they produced, I get the sense that there may be other students, but they didn't produce those (for example, a letter notes that Epstein has been donating tuition, and they have decided going forward not to count this as a charitable contribution for tax purposes). Our rider should have covered this. From: Sent: Saturday, March 7, 20204:53 PM To: Subject: RE: Interlochen Absolutely should reach out to her for an interview. We could do it or have the agents, either one. From: Sent: Saturday, March 07, 2020 16:51 To: Subject: RE: Interlochen And I should note that, on the podcast, describes meeting Maxwell and Epstein at Interlochen when they walked up to her with their little dog. She was also from a family of musicians, just like In the interview, she said she asked why Epstein chose to sponsor her, and Maxwell (the interview uses the pronoun she, and in context I think that's what she's referring to) told her it was because Epstein liked her beautiful blue eyes, and Jeffrey liked blue eyes. Worth listening to the whole interview. This looks like her—what are your thoughts on reaching out to her for an interview? EFTA00097133 From: Sent: Saturday, March 7, 2020 4:28 PM To: Subject: Interlochen Two things: 1) Forgive me if someone else spotted this already and I missed it, but in reviewing the records it looks like the Wexner Foundation donated $185,000 for the Epstein Lodge on 7/25/1994, which would have been just weeks before he flew there in August '94, which is when we think he and Maxwell met The production also includes a letter from Interlochen to Epstein dated February 9, 1994, which reads: "I have talked to you and Ghislaine on several occasions to say thank you. But, I wanted to express in writing my personal and professional gratitude for the very generous gift of $200,000 for a new scholarship lodge." The letter notes that the target date for completing the lodge is June 1994. The letter notes that Epstein may use the cabin for two weeks each summer. The returns also include a letter to Maxwell, dated December 1994, enclosing something that was found in the lodge during cleaning (an envelope). EFTA00097134
