Are there some times this week that would work for you for a call with us? Thanks, EFTA00101213 Assistant United States Attorney Southern District of New York St. Plaza From: Sent: Friday, September 6, 2019 2:27 AM To: ► Cc: Subject: Epstein I had a follow up call with the Paris prosecutor's office about their Epstein investigation. In terms of confidentiality, they explained that information we share would stay confidential. This would be the case until a criminal defendant is placed under examination, at which point that person would have access to the investigative file; but they are not at that stage yet. She added that the press could not have access to the investigative file at this time. I am waiting on a written follow up from them on this point. They are preparing to execute search warrants, possible as early as next week, and don't want to interfere with the US case. Though, I imagine they may obtain some information that could be helpful for your case as well. In the meantime, with the investigation ramping up here, I think it could be productive to put you in touch. Is that something you would be open to? Perhaps a call to start? Once I get a sense of what level of confidentiality they can afford any information we share, I hope to come back to you to discuss the mechanics of sharing information with the French. I've received an inquiry from the Paris prosecutor's office about Epstein's potential connections to France, and I am trying to figure out if we would be in a position to share anything with the French that could advance their investigation.
