Do you remember who told you that the video was not available? There isn't a technical 30-day retention period for video as far as I'm aware, so it's accurate to say that it wasn't retained at the time we requested the video on 8/10. Am I missing something M, or does the FBI at least have video of the common area? July 22/23 is outside the MCC's retention period, so no. If you want a little more background on the MCC's video system, let me know. 2. We're not aware of any video. To the extent there are pictures, they're in the file you already got. 3. We don't have the rope. You could ask MCC, but this wasn't ever offered to us. 4. We don't believe the BOP has completed its after action report. They are: 1— Is there video of the hallway outside of Epstein/Tartaglione's cell from the July 22/23 incident, and can they view it? [If the video does exist, we think letting them view it at our office but not having a copy at this time would be ok, but want to hear your views] 2 — Are there video or photos from inside the cell after the incident, and can they view them? [Our position would be the same regarding a viewing at our office] 3 — Was the orange rope from the July 22/23 incident preserved, and if so, Barket wants to inspect it. [We've pushed them for a valid reason to inspect the rope, since they've seen a photograph which ought to be sufficient] 4 — Do you know if an After Action Report was prepared for the actual suicide. [I think it is likely there was, and if so, I would review it for potential Brody along the same lines as the witness interviews]. Thanks guys, and sorry for all the requests.
