From: To: Subject: Notes from 4/28/2021 call with PBPD Captain Date: Wed, 28 Apr 2021 15:38:45 +0000 This morning, AUSA =spoke with Palm Beach Police Department Captain The bulk of the conversation focused on identifying contact information for current and former PBPD personnel who were present for the October 2005 search of Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach residence. At the end of the conversation, AUSA asked if he could provide any background regarding Evidence Specialist who conducted the inventory of the October 2005 search. In response, indicated that etas arrested in or around 2007 by the PBPD for stealing money from PBPD's evidence. According to= was cutting open evidence bags, taking money out of the bags, and resealing the bags. As far as knows, there was no evidence that was tampering with evidence other than money. Because there was no money seized from Epstein's residence, there is no reason to believe that tampered with any evidence seized from the Epstein search. EFTA00103737
