From: cti To: MEIMISYS)" ctl Subject: RE: Checking in Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2020 17:06:21 +0000 (USANYS)" ands, This week, I'm expecting to send you a draft SW in the Epstein case. I'm around on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings if you end up having a virtual happy hour one of those nights. Take care, From: (USANYS) Sent: Sunday, March 29, 2020 4:18 PM To: (USANYS) > (USANYS) aa , (USANYS) (USANYS) < [Contractor] <I M>; (USANYS) [Contractor] Subject: Checking in Hi everyone, (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) < >; (USANYS) (USANYS) [Contractor] c=a (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) (USANYS) [Contractor] .c > [Contractor] (USANYS) We hope that you are continuing to manage as best as possible under the circumstances. We've spoken with each of you about particular cases and your circumstances in general, and will continue to check in in the following weeks. Although there are plainly investigative steps and other things we won't be able to accomplish in the short term, everyone is continuing to push their cases as best as possible, and we again thank you for your commitment and effort. A couple things: As we asked last weekend, can you let us know either of any court appearances you have coming up, including whether they are in person or not? Can you also let us know of any process you think you will be sending for review this week? Finally, we thought a fun way of staying in touch would be to do an informal virtual happy hour one night this week. This is, of course, totally optional, but if you are up for it, can you let us know if either Wednesday or Thursday night (around 8- 9 pm) would work for you? Thanks! and. I think and I have now spoken with all of you at least once if not multiple times this week, we're pleased to report that everyone seems to be in good spirts (and with fl ood news yesterday, healthy), and we really appreciate, as does the Brass, the hard work everyone is putting in to try to keep essential unit work moving forward while simultaneously dealing with childcare and the various other demands on our time and mental energy these days. Two quick asks as we begin to look forward to Week 2 at home: first, as with last week, if you have anything on the calendar for next week (significant proffers, court appearances, filing deadlines), please let us know. Please also let us know whether you plan to do them in person or by phone. Second, if you have anything that you already know you'll need reviewed next week, if you could please let us know that, too, along with your best guess of when you'll be getting us a draft. and I are trying to work through things as quickly as we can, but anything you can do to help us plan in that regard would be very much appreciated. Thanks again, stay safe and healthy, and if we're lucky, maybe will kick off the weekend with a Song of the Week... To put it mildly, it is been an unusual few days, and as uncertain as many things are right now, we hope you're doing everything you can to keep yourselves and your families healthy. Second, and related, like I will be working from home for the foreseeable future. And more important, in light of Geoff's email last night you should be too. and I really want to emphasize that this is not a time to assume the rules don't actually apply to us — Geoff's email means what it says, so absent a truly exigent need to be physically in the Office, please plan to work from home. Third, if you feel you do have something that requires you to come in this week — a proffer or meeting that can't be postponed or done as a conference call, a Court appearance that has not been cancelled or changed to a conference call — please let us know. In particular, if you could send us an email today with a list of any such proffers/meetings/court appearances this week, that would be much appreciated. Also if you have any doubt about whether a proffer or meeting is sufficiently important to warrant postponement, or more generally about how to handle any particular case/meeting/issue, please feel free to reach out. and I are happy to talk through anything you may have going on and, if need be, to raise up for guidance. Finally, as you likely saw in Geoff's email, is home now in isolation awaiting results of a COVID-19 test. and I are both in frequent touch with her — it will not surprise you to learn that is handling an extremely stressful situation with characteristic good humor and resilience — but our thoughts are with her, I and we will keep you posted as soon as we learn more. I think that's it for now. To reiterate, please don't hesitate to reach out to either of us with questions, updates, concerns, or just because you're home alone bored. Aside from chasing around our children, I think we both plan to be relatively available throughout. (Was supposed to go to Colorado the week after next but now staying put). will be in tomorrow, but next week is up in the air for him. You should all feel totally free to work from home (get Ks approval, but I expect you will) — we can communicate via email and teleconferences.
