Exhibit H EFTA00154368 29 October, 2020 The Honorable Alison J. Nathan United States District Court Southern District of New York United States Courthouse 40 Foley Square New York, NY 10007 Your Honor: This statement is in support of Ghislaine Maxwell's request for bail and her character. I Anne Holve am Ghislaine Maxwell's eldest sister, and eldest of the Maxwell siblings since our late eldest brother Michael, died after a car accident in 1961. I am 72 years old , a Graduate from Oxford University with a Modern Languages Degree (French and Italian). I trained as an Actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama and pursed an acting career for many years after that. Then went into Publishing for a few years and later on trained as a Montessori teacher teaching young children in schools for many years. In my early 40s, I began training as a Psychotherapist and am now a licensed therapist in the United Kingdom, specializing in Cognititive Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, with an active practice in North London. I am still working and have been in this profession for 20 years. I have of course known my sister Ghislaine since she was born when I was 14 years old and witnessed her develop into a lovely, energetic and capable young woman. Growing up with our very wealthy and successful father was definitely not an easy experience. He was highly domineering and exacting and quick to anger if we did not immediately jump and/or respond to his questions and demands. He could be intensely crushing of our dreams and efforts as we grew into young adulthood, and even after. But each of us, including Ghislaine, also learned a relentless work ethic and the importance of key moral values from both our parents such as "concentration, consideration and conciseness" - a favorite dictum of our father's but also and highly important too was the social training we all received in welcoming, no matter the inconvenience or the surprise to look after all our father's many guests who came every weekend from all over the world whilst we were growing up, including scientists, political figures and business leaders. We were all expected to entertain them. This might include playing tennis with them, showing them around the city of Oxford (where our home was) but for the most part it consisted of basically engaging in conversation with them and helping them to feel welcome and to enjoy their visit with our family. Though Ghislaine left the United Kingdom for America just before our father died, as did our twin siblings in the earlier decades, we have always remained close as a family and kept in contact. I know that many of my nieces and nephews and their friends have visited and benefitted from staying with Ghislaine during their vacations and for life experience over the years, and Ghislaine asked if our daughter would like to come over for a few months after she finished university over here. It was a EFTA00154369 kind and generous invitation from her and we had no hesitation whatsoever in sending her to spend time with Ghislaine. I must attest to my utter shock at the arrest of my sister on the charges she is facing. From all I know of her and the family values we have all been brought up with and live our lives by, she would not be capable of such behavior. I never witnessed Ghislaine be violent or remotely sexually inappropriate with anybody of any age or gender, ever. She is a warm, loving and generous human being and I am told she is bearing up with great courage and fortitude inside the detention center and those are some of the qualities in her character that are sustaining her in her current awful circumstances. I believe she is innocent of the charges brought against her and determined to prove her innocence. I believe she wants nothing else but to fight these charges in court in July 2021 and to clear her name and therefore would never seek to flee anywhere if she were granted bail. She, like all people so charged, have a constitutional right to due process and indeed she has declared herself to be innocent of all charges. She is innocent until proven otherwise and she like all people so charged — is entitled to a fair trial by a jury of her peers. I, like all my brothers and sisters, have complete faith in Ghislaine's respect for the judicial process and in her determination to fight all the charges brought against her. I am certain and confident of Ghislaine's trustworthiness and of the importance of her achieving bail in order to properly be able to prepare her defense to the charges she faces. Yours respectfully, J • J • Anne Holve EFTA00154370
