I was able to decode a few more:
NYC024328 (Space Grey Mac) is 1857
NYC024366 (Mac from VI search) is 1687
NYC024383 (silvewr iMac from VI) is 18118
NYC027913 (32 GB thumb drive) is 1640
Also: NYC024336 and NYC024337 are from NYC024335 a Sony Vaio 1862
(NY) (FBI)
The only item I need clarification on is NYC027911 the 4GB thumb drive. There were 2, and 1 didn't
work. I will have the evidence techs pull them and tell me which one is NYC027911.
And, you are correct about the transposition. The number sequence is NYC0279XX, NOT 97XX.

Got it, thank you. As I'm working through all of these, a couple more questions came up.
First, would you be able to send me the 16 numbers for the below devices, please?
I. NYC024336 — Sony Vaio laptop (NY search)
2. NYC024337 — Sony Vaio laptop (NY search)
3. NYC027911 — 4 GB thumb drive (NY search)
Second, someone on our end appears to have entered a typo when typing the NYC numbers for
certain devices into our review platform. Can you please confirm that there are NQ devices with the
following CART numbers for this case?

EFTA00157419
1. NYC029708
2. NYC029710
3. NYC029711
4. NYC029713
We believe that someone accidentally flipped the "7" and the "9" in those numbers, and that,
instead, those CART numbers should be:
5. NYC027908
6. NYC027910
7. NYC027911
8. NYC027913
Just want to be sure.
Thanks so much,

Thanks so much for this—really appreciate it. If there is any way to get the last 1B numbers this
week, I would be very grateful. Our final discovery deadline is November 9th, and we're running out
of time to complete our reviews and prepare all of our productions in time to meet that deadline.

One follow up question: In some instances, it appears that multiple CART numbers fall under the
same 1B number. Why would that be?
Thanks again,

Of course, I returned most of this stuff to evidence control literally last week, however I was
able to get most of the information for you. See below in red. I will physically have to go to evidence
control in the Bronx to look at the items that are missing. I can do that next week, as I have to go to
the Bronx anyway. If that is not soon enough for you, let me know and I'll up the timeline.
As far as the drives that need rebuilding/recovery, I have not been able to get much
traction on that due to the whole Covid thing. I will double the effort. Keep in mind, that even with
the best of efforts, this process may not be successful. Just setting expectations.

Thanks very much,
MI
I'll give you a call tomorrow.
In the meantime, I've been going through the attached spreadsheets trying to line up the CART
evidence numbers that I=
used to identify each device (contained in the spreadsheet entitled
"evidenceStatuts20200729") with the 18 numbers and FBI barcode numbers that
and
used to identify those same devices (contained in the spreadsheet entitled "JE Evidence seized").
I've been able to match up most of the devices, but I'm still lost on the below:
