Will jump on it 1st thing. Believe that the paper file would have been TRIM'd, so FD-71 should have been scanned. The paper copy should also be in Winchester. I say "should" because if the actual file was among those destroyed by Sandy, then obviously we are SOL on getting content. Either way, it should have been indexed, so there should be a record that there was an FD-71 with a complainant's name and info, etc., but that is of course assuming someone actually did index it and it got properly filed. More to follow tomorrow. On Aug 27, 2019 9:23 PM, ' " wrote: C20 was working on this today so I am not sure who they spoke with. Not sure if folks have already coordinated with= folks: On 08/26/2019, the New York Times published an article titled "The Sisters Who First Tried to Take Down Jeffreikain." The article references contact with the FBI in 1996. FBI NY determined did contact the FBI in 1996 and an FD-71 was drafted. As this document is not maintained electronically, FBI NY is making efforts to obtain the FD-71 from closed files. FBI NY will thereafter attempt to interview the family. EFTA00165497
