Sex Trafficking investigation:
We expect significant media attention next Tuesday (8/27/2019) at a Nolle Prosequi hearing where SDNY will
abandon their case against Epstein. Normally this would be done by filing, however the Judge determined there
to be a significant public interest and set a hearing. It is anticipated that multiple victims will speak at this
hearing. The FBI NY VS and SDNY are working together to inform victims and coordinate their travel from
around the country. The exact number of victims expected to speak is still being determined at this point.
• At this time we don't have PC for a search of the NM residence. We have one victim who may have been raped
at the NM residence. This victim is located in California and we have a second interview of her scheduled for
September. Additionally, at this time we don't believe there are items still located in the residence that would be
of value to the investigation.
Counsel for two new victims contacted the investigation team this week. Their interviews have been scheduled
for next week.
A meeting with Counsel for primary co-conspirator
has been scheduled for next week.
Based on the technical assessment from CART, the taint review of digital evidence seized from his NY residence

Death investigation:
Additional interviews of MCC personnel have been completed. Notably, the Psychiatrist advised that had they
been informed by Epstein's Counsel that he changed his Will (36 hours before his death) they would have placed
him on suicide watch.
The case team continues to wait for the OCME report.
Work on the telephone analysis and financials is ongoing.
Discussion continues with SDNY/OIG regarding an appropriate disposition of the case against the two
suspended Corrections Officers.
ex/Dru investigation:

Interviews of MCC personnel and inmates have been completed. Notably, one inmate advised that
is
known to the inmates as the person who will allow contraband to enter MCC. Additionally, he is known to be
someone who will flirt with wives andiaiends of inmates when they come for visits. This sometimes causes
problems when inmates will confront
about his behavior.
Public Corruption preliminary investigation:

Interviews of multiple MCC personnel and inmates has been completed. At this time we don't have consistent
reporting of a conspiracy to cover up alleged deficiencies within MCC and/or to impede the ongoing FBI/OIG
