Normally this would be done by filing, however the Judge determined there to be a significant public interest and set a hearing. It is anticipated that multiple victims will speak at this hearing. The FBI NY VS and SDNY are working together to inform victims and coordinate their travel from around the country. The exact number of victims expected to speak is still being determined at this point. • At this time we don't have PC for a search of the NM residence. We have one victim who may have been raped at the NM residence. This victim is located in California and we have a second interview of her scheduled for September. Additionally, at this time we don't believe there are items still located in the residence that would be of value to the investigation. Counsel for two new victims contacted the investigation team this week. Their interviews have been scheduled for next week. A meeting with Counsel for primary co-conspirator has been scheduled for next week. Based on the technical assessment from CART, the taint review of digital evidence seized from his NY residence should commence in mid September. Death investigation: Additional interviews of MCC personnel have been completed. Notably, the Psychiatrist advised that had they been informed by Epstein's Counsel that he changed his Will (36 hours before his death) they would have placed him on suicide watch. The case team continues to wait for the OCME report. Work on the telephone analysis and financials is ongoing. Discussion continues with SDNY/OIG regarding an appropriate disposition of the case against the two suspended Corrections Officers. ex/Dru investigation: as provided an attorney and was proffered on 8/22/2019. Results of this proffer were consistent with her first interview. A second proffer of is scheduled for next week. Subpoenas for telephone records hqve been served and CAST analysis is ongoing. Initial analysis supports the link between and Correction Office Analysis of the three phones seized from and Adams has been begun. Initial analysis supports the links between and Interviews of MCC personnel and inmates have been completed. Notably, one inmate advised that is known to the inmates as the person who will allow contraband to enter MCC. Additionally, he is known to be someone who will flirt with wives andiaiends of inmates when they come for visits. This sometimes causes problems when inmates will confront about his behavior. Public Corruption preliminary investigation: EFTA00165505 Interviews of multiple MCC personnel and inmates has been completed. At this time we don't have consistent reporting of a conspiracy to cover up alleged deficiencies within MCC and/or to impede the ongoing FBI/OIG investigation.
