Thanks. en : I nursaay, October , Lulu ul: Cc: Brad Edwards <brad@pathtojustice.com> Subject: current status of new criminal investigation As you know, Mike Fisten and others met with representatives from the FBI in about late July of this year to provide information to the FBI about Epstein's sexual abuse of other young girls — girls not covered by the non-prosecution agreement. At the conclusion of the meeting, the agents said that they would investigate further and get back to us. I am writing to ask: (1) What is the current status of that investigation; (2) What can be said about the current status in our pleading — as you know, one of the reasons we did not file something more quickly was waiting to hear back from you on the status of this new criminal investigation and whether it would be produce new criminal charges against Epstein. We may want to make reference to that fact in our pleading, but of course do not want to say anything that might jeopardize the Government's new investigation.
