Miami uses the TA, as its centralized repository for storage and retrieval of scanned (hard copy) and electronic intelligence information in support of investigative and intelligence operations. It is requested that the enclosed telephone records be scanned at the Case File level for incorporation into TA. It is understood that the material will' be saved in the following file types: TIFF, TXT, searchable PDF, and non-searchable PDF. It is requested that the TXT files be forwarded by DocLab to STAO ACU for data formatting to support future incorporation into TA, as appropriate. The material is to be returned to Miami in the form that it was received at DocLab. Miami will have the ability to rapidly conduct key word and document control information searches on voluminous amounts of data associated with the case through the Bureau-wide investigative tool, TA.
