Re: CHICKEN the Movie, LLC Business Plan
Dear Jeffrey Epstein Foundation,
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to submit our CHICKEN the Movie, LLC Business Plan
to your foundation. By telling the story of the familiar yet misunderstood chicken and its
endangered ancestors, the wild junglefowl, CHICKEN the Movie, LLC and its media products
will become an important cultural landmark joining the fields of evolutionary biology, bio-
geography, history, anthropology, agriculture, and conservation; which together will produce a
multi-faceted body of work that is readily accessible and suitable for many levels of
comprehension: from village to classroom, from classroom to boardroom. By incorporating an
"edu-tainment" model, using a variety of media platforms, the movie and its ancillary projects
will appeal to a wide audience; and open the door to a new understanding of this wonderfully
sustainable natural resource: the humble domestic chicken.
We are committed to making sustainability a pre-competitive issue; therefore, all merchandise
will be made from 100% sustainable resources. A portion of all profits from the film and other
marketable merchandise will be donated to: a) Create a Science and Research Trust for the
Department of Ornithology at the American Museum of Natural History to support research and
develop awareness about the Gallomorphae; and, b) Assist agriculturists, educators, and students
in developing countries, inner city schools, and classrooms; with the aim of promoting
sustainable poultry farming and habitat restoration through education of these target populations.
Other marketing and production strategies will be developed between interested parties and
CHICKEN the Movie, LLC to fund additional science, conservation, and humanitarian efforts.
CHICKEN the Movie, LLC aims to premiere at a recognized film festival as a 'discovery film'
where an A-list world sales agent will broker the distribution and exploitation of the film on our
behalf. Please find attached Appendix "F", the projected minimum guarantees by territory that
describes the advance given by distributors for a given territory. Profit over and above these
guarantees is determined on a territory-by-territory basis, according to the success of the film's
exploitation in all media.
Through our collective efforts, we will bring attention to the primary importance of this
economically essential and culturally important bird, the domestic chicken, Gallus domesticus; its
time-honored role in feeding humanity, and its vital role in immunization and medical
breakthroughs over the last three centuries.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Kermit Blackwood
