EFTA00309004 Alberto and Jean, Thank you for all your work on the new apartment, the guest rooms are beautiful; however, the biggest areas of my concern are the following: What had always been the most important to me however, are the gym, steam, entry, air conditioning and plumbing. In fact, at many meetings, Alberto said Jeffrey "does not give a shit" about the back rooms. 1. The gym, after spending many hours with Nissan regarding the details of what I needed, the most important things were done without all the work; in fact, they were totally ignored. a. The floor is totally wrong. I was very specific about having a wooden ballet floor like the island. Nissan assured me he had met with a man that does all the best theatre floors in Paris. b. There are supposed to be electric sockets in the floor, I detailed this months ago. c. I specified very early that the gym needs extra air as it is for exercise. 2. The steam does not work well at all. The heat controls in both shower and steam were broken. 3. The floor in the entry and round room is also wrong even after long discussions. The idea was that the two apartments look like one. The floor of the round room is new; Nissan and I discussed saving the old floor just so that at least the floor would be the same. The current pattern just exemplifies the fact that this is a different apartment. 4. The air conditioning did not work at all in some rooms; my guests had to sleep with the windows open. The fact that the plumbing EFTA00309005 and air conditioning in the new apartment is not right is something I've been concerned about from the very beginning. This was a very expensive contract, but I was assured by Serge that this time I would not have problems similar to that of the past. This is not fair. In addition to my main concerns, the following issues also need to be addressed: 1. Main entrance and connection between old apartment and round room. 1.1 The floor of the round room, corridor and first room in the old apartment, has to have a connecting idea: perhaps same wood, same carpet, same walls....in order to give the idea of one house and not of two separate apartments. Please advice. 1.2 In the corridor, facing the round room, mirrors might be hung on the left wall...perhaps the same style of the mirrors which are currently on the right side. 1.3 What about the wall covering that Albert Pinto showed to Mr. Epstein? Is it perhaps better to use the wall covering rather then white paint? Please advice. 1.4 Should the color of the round vestibule match the color of the old entry? 2. Corridor between round room and Gym. 2.1 Two new pictures to be hung on the wall. 3. Gym. 3.1 On the top of the walls, above the black line, new pictures, the same style of the existing, have to be hung. EFTA00309006 3.2 The big mirror on the opposite side of the windows has to go all the way down to the floor. 3.3 A big picture has to be hung on the wall upon the fire place. 3.4 The curtains are too dark. Sheers curtains will be better. Electric shades were talked about, like the bathroom of the old apartment, so you don't have to open the windows each time to open the shades. 3.5 The stereo has not been properly fixed. 3.6 The standing stereo speakers were supposed to be small Bose speakers. No speakers on the floor. 3.7 The secret door connecting the gym to the rest of the new apartment needs to have a spring hinge attached so it closes automatically. 3.8 FYI: Mr. Epstein said at least 10 times, there should be NO lights on the ceiling; there are 6 lights there. Now that they are already there, leave them. 4. Massage room. 4.1 Bright lights are required, also to allow the staff to clean the room properly even if it's night. 5. Steam room. 5.1 The shape and the position of the seats have to be restudied, it's uncomfortable and it's wrong. 5.2 Currently, on the back side of the seats are holes which are not required. 5.3 Hot air is coming from the bottom of the long seat. This is wrong, air needs an easy circulation and has to be in a open space. 5.4 Between the steam room and the shower room there are holes to allow water to go out. A strip of rubber is required to block the incoming air. This should also be added in the original apartment. 5.5 Switch the position of the hand held shower. 5.6 Both the thermostats in the shower room and in the steam room don't work properly; please replace with a different one. EFTA00309007 5.7 The grey wall in the steam room can get very hot. We talked about this as the current steam marble is also wrong. It is not the right material for this room. 5.8 The chrome handle leading from the shower to the vestibule is too close to the door jamb; your hand hits the side when you open the door. 6. Chinese room. 6.1 When flushing the toilet, water never stops running. Please check. 6.2 The right side sink has a leak. Please check. 6.3 Air conditioning is not working. Please check. 7. Old Apartment. 7.1 The return air in "His master bedroom" is still not working. After all the work that has been done in order to fix the A.C., the air out take is still not working.
