We are well into our 2016 fishing season and the heat of summer is here and so is the fishing for both our Bass and Muskie! We have been doing very well on the Canadian side of the lake for our Bass charters and catching between 3 to 5 dozen Bass per trip. The average size has varied between 2 to 4 pounds with your occasional 5+ pounder. We have also been catching many Perch while Bass fishing, which makes for some good eating bonus fish. The Muskie fishing has been great since the opener over a month ago. We have averaged 6+ fish boated per trip. We have caught 6 Muskies over the 50 inch mark, many of which have been over 30 pounds! We also may offer Fall jigging Muskie trips in the Detroit River this September and October. If you are interested in jigging for Muskies, let us know.
